Follow the Tipperary Heritage Way, past ancient ruins and enjoy the wildlife along the banks of the River Suir.Different species of swans can be seen in the water. Prepare to see the Rock of Cashel, The 4th century castle .

Take time out to walk the Dun Ui Faolain Loop- a hidden gem on the outskirts of Clonmel, beyond Marlfield Village. There are three extremely pleasant 5 km rambles through old woods and along the bank of the River Suir , a wildlife sancturary rich in biodiversity.

OVERLOOKING KILCOOLEY
The historical Grange Crag Loop with its Victorian Ice House and Wellington Monument looks down on Kilcooley Abbey and has views accros the whole of Tipperary. The path is definately off the beaten track and well worth the effort. Just think of the achievement.
